Id a possible Sedum and a possible Crassula!!

Hello I have 2 unnamed plants that I believe are a Sedum and a Crassula but I am only guessing. They are small in size, the leafs are no bigger than my fingernail on both plans. The sedum has never flowered. thank you!!

Hi,

Probably a Sedum, but the plant needs more sun, and flowers to confirm.
The second looks like Crassula pubescens ssp. radicans ; you will compare at blooming time.
But careful ! your plants are in a too rich compost, they grow between stones.

Thank you! Although I am terrified to put it in direct sunlight because I know that some sedums are partial to shade.. It s now currently getting morning sunlight and some afternoon but not continuously because I have some trees in front of my balcony. It s winter here and maybe that s why it looks this way.  Regarding the compost. I agree that they thrive in less nourishing soils I ll try to not water them longer periods and hopefully it s going to be ok.  Here it s a bit hard to find some perlite and other mix components.

Compared to the youngest leaves, the oldest are obviously etiolated. wink

it just the way it grows. It starts out with a rosette and then as it grows the leaves elongate. I have kep it in a good strong light and some sun but not full sun like I would with a cacti for example.

Yes, indeed, pretty cold ! I understand that you have a greenhouse - in summer do you move your plants outside ?
